Thanks for reveiwing this book. We just started implementing Mahara in our school this year and I too have been wondering if I’m taking advantage if its full potential. I will definitely pick up a copy.

Hi David,

Unfortunately no one has come forward willing to properly fund the work on SCORM 2004 – in the meantime Rustici’s commercial SCORM Cloud is a viable alternative for people that require a SCORM 2004 compliant player in Moodle

Thanks for checking out the SCORM Cloud stuff (and Dan’s post). If you want to explore options for SCORM 2004 + Moodle in an installed environment, we can actually do that already as well via our SCORM Engine. (We built that version of the mod first.)

Thanks for the feedback! – I’m sure that SCORM 2004 in Moodle will eventually get finished, but in the meantime Rustici provide a viable alternative for those that require full SCORM 2004 support!

Hi Dan,

Thank you for the great(BIG) word you do on the SCORM 1.2 certification of Moodle…

Unfortunately, that news don’t help me. It will not be possible for us to put SCORM content on an other web site. There is some security challenges for us with this option.

I still believe that Moodle need it’s own SCORM 2004 certification.

Hope the RFP will not be delete…

Hi David! thanks for the feedback! – to enable ldap support you should be able to find the following line in your php.ini:
;extension=php_ldap.dll

and remove the semi-colon at the start to make it:
extension=php_ldap.dll

If you’re not sure where your php.ini is, from moodle goto admin > server > php info and it should tell you where it’s loading the php.ini from!
